portrait of a warrior

The highlight of a trip to Texas was visiting the Portrait of a Warrior, Memorial Art Gallery and meeting Ken Pridgeon. The experience was awesome beyond words.

Ken “the Dauber” Pridgeon started painting while serving in the U. S. Air Force.  He started the gallery by painting portraits of fallen heroes in Iraq and Afghanistan who were from the state of Texas. He has expanded his mission to include Iraq and Afghanistan fallen heroes across the United States of America.   His heart is a big as his passion, as he generously donates a print of each portrait to the fallen heroes family.   As you enter the gallery, you are greeted by the sons and daughters of America.  The fallen heroes hang as a memorial of their unselfish gift to us all as they gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
